BridgeRight Group, headquartered in the Uptown area of Dallas, Texas is a full-service firm specializing in accounting, financial systems, and financial reporting to small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofits throughout the DFW metroplex.
We also like to work with our clients in a more personal and open manner than some other firms. This page should give you a better idea about our team, their roles and their personalities.
Dave Pattillo has been working in the accounting profession since 1987 primarily in professional accounting services and consulting. His career in Dallas started at Coopers & Lybrand. Since 1996, Dave has worked with clients of all sizes and many industries to improve their systems and processes around accounting, financial reporting and HR/Payroll. He lives in Dallas with his husband and their whippet, Rayban. Dave is certified in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Point of Sale, and QuickBooks Desktop editions.
He has a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M and a MS in Accounting from Texas A&M - Commerce.
BillyAnn is a degreed and QBO certified accountant with a great background in accounting for companies large and small. The bookkeeping staff reports to BillyAnn and she acts as primary initial contact for client accounting concerns. We suggest clients consider her their "Controller-on-Call". BillyAnn joined the firm in 2016.
BillyAnn and Dave Pattillo have known each other for a number of years since working together in a large corporate merger project. BillyAnn is married and has three great kids.
Garrett has an Associates Degree from El Centro Community College in Dallas and is now working on his Bachelor's degree at the University of North Texas. He has been with BridgeRight for over a year and is responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping of most of our business and nonprofit clients. He is our only office coffee drinker and also occasionally DJs events around town (which might explain the need for coffee).
In 2017, we will be looking for one paid intern for every semester (Fall, Spring, Summer) throughout the year. Interns should be Juniors or Seniors enrolled in an accounting program at a local university. We have structured our intern program to provide a wide variety of experience in our firm that will be helpful in finding that first job! They will have day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities but will also shadow our owner at least five times during the semester. Interns can work either full-time or part-time depending on their needs.
If you know someone who might be a good fit, please have them contact us!
We don't really get much work out of this guy, but he sure is cute.
We think he looks a little like Garrett, so they may be related. We don't have a policy against family members working together, so we've asked about it. Unfortunately, our Accounting Mascot isn't very talkative.
So, it is all very mysterious.
